Modern Warfare 3 More Prestige Levels Being Added

According to some new images that arrived on Steam Forum, Modern Warfare 3 will be getting 5 more prestige levels. You guys can check out the image below, and there is room from prestige 11-15. Infinity Ward's Robert Bowling has confirmed on his personal Twitter account that 400 new levels and five prestiges have been added to PC version of MW3. This addition will be made to the console version in coming days. On Twitter, Bowling wrote, "Added 400 new ranks of 5 new Prestige levels in Modern Warfare 3 on PC in latest patch. Expect the same on consoles soon for everyone! #MW3" Interestingly, 10 new prestige emblems have been added to the game files as well, according to Charlie Intel (see image below). Bringing the total number of prestige levels to 20, not 15. We still don’t know if levels 15 through 20 are accessible or not, but we’ll keep you posted as we learn more.

Modern Warfare 3 Map Packs DLC - More Images

By the looks of it, Modern Warfare 3′s DLC will be arriving right on time, scheduled for release on 24th January for Premium Call of Duty: Elite members. Regular Call of Duty fanatics will receive the content as well, just at a later time. It has been sited that confirmed that from January until September, Premium Call of Duty Elite members will receive nine consecutive months of Modern Warfare 3 DLC. During this nine month period it is believed that we can expect”at least 20 content drops.” Whether it be new maps, new Spec Ops missions, new playlists, perhaps even a gun pack this time around, who knows, but we’ll soon find out.
As for the images released today: The maps are set in Italy and Central Park. “Piazza” is a tight and winding map set in Italy, whilst the other map, “Liberation” is a militarised Central Park, supposedly a Sniper’s dream. So without further ado, let’s reveal the images:

Free Xbox Live Weekend - 12/9 - 12/11

From 12pm (GMT) 09 December to 11.59pm (GMT) 11 December, Xbox Live will be free. Revamping STFS System

Hi all, at the moment i am redesigning my entire STFS system. For you non-programmers, the STFS system is how a program reads and writes to the files within the container file (hard to explain). I am attempting to make it as speedy as possible to make it...well....speedy . Here is an image or two of what i have so far:

Promoting Posts to Articles

Beginning with IP.Content 2.0, you can now promote forum posts to your articles section in IP.Content.

The administrator can configure the specifics of this feature in the ACP under My Apps -> IP.Content -> Promote Article Settings. You can turn the system on and off, control which groups can copy and move posts to the articles section, and specify a few other details for the feature. A new hook is included with IP.Content which adds a button to each post labeled "Promote to Article". This button only shows up if you have permission to use the feature based on the ACP configuration.

When clicked, the button will take you to a new form where you can formalize the details of the new article. You can tweak the text and title, upload an image, and specify other pertinent details. If you are able to both move and copy posts to the articles section, you will also be asked which type of promotion you wish to use. Upon submitting the form, IP.Content handles the rest.

This new feature can be used to showcase important content otherwise hidden in your forums by pushing this content to your frontpage. It is then up to you whether you want a copy made in the articles section (leaving the original post in tact), whether you want to actually move the post to the articles section, and whether you want any cross-linking left in place. With such powerful options, we are sure you will find many uses for this new promotion tool in IP.Content 2.0.
